Authors Fair 2024
You will need a seller’s permit number in order to sell your books at the Authors Fair. Most authors selling these things on their own should already have one. To download a document with more information, click here.

You can register for your seller’s permit online here. California requires such information as:
- Valid California ID
- Valid email address
- Projected monthly sales
- Projected monthly taxable sales
- Products to be sold
When registering online, it will request an address for the temporary permit. The event will be held at 1492 CALIFORNIA ST, 96001. It will also request a type of business activity, or an NAICS code. Using 459210 will get you to the book retailers list. It will also ask for a phone number for the hosts, 530-276-4788.
