The 2011 Writers Forum Authors Fair in the Mt. Shasta Mall was a smashing success. Here are some memories of the day as captured by Writers Forum Secretary, Darbie Andrews.

The registration booth was ready for a great day of celebrating local authors.

Writers Forum President, Larry Watters, served as the Master of Ceremonies.

Edgar award winner, Charlie Price spent the day signing books and doling out encouraging words to aspiring writers.

Over 30 authors were in attendance, ready to sell their books to a steady stream of mall patrons.

Author Linda Marie Irish embodied the joy of sharing the written word.

So many books to sign, so little time.

Authors connected with old friends and made new ones.

A variety of genres provided something for every kind of reader.

Suzanne Artim-Young spent the day showcasing her work and talking with eager customers.

Author Darlene Keppler proudly displayed her books.

Author Tony Adams talked poetry and prose with passerby.

Author Jeremy M. Tuggle enjoyed a rare quiet moment.

Author Genny Monchamp made the day a family event.

It was a great event for both the young and the young at heart.
Special thanks to the Record Searchlight for supporting the Authors Fair. Thank you to all the authors, members and board members who made the Authors Fair an event not to be missed. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s Authors Fair!
